During the ATEC 2021 (Germany’s leading congress for deep-tech start-ups, investors, corporates and students), eight start-ups with roots in RWTH Aachen University was presented with the Spinn-off Award 2021. The RWTH Aachen Spin-off Award is the only official award for outstanding spin-offs from the university. It is a quality label for the winning teams, allowing them to promote their business with reference to its scientific origins in RWTH Aachen University.

It was our honour to be among the eight chosen start-ups in 2021. We want to extend our thanks to the decision committee as well as the RWTH Innovation GmbH. We also would like to use the opportunity and congratulate other teams and wish them the bests.

It is said that the world’s most valuable resource is no longer oil but data. Interestingly, almost all of the awarded start-ups work with this 21 century’s oil. We at ProcessM also analyse the customer’s data, helping them improve their business efficiency. We use process mining to discover the actual ongoing processes in their business as well as the bottlenecks and combine it with the business intelligence to provide actionable insights for our customers so that they won’t need any extra data expert to convey the analyses results for them.
